Breakdown: Tennessee’s last non-conference opponent will be their toughest since the season opener against Georgia Tech. Southern Miss went 7-6 last year and staged an improbable comeback against Kentucky in the season opener last season to stun the Wildcats 44-35. But things didn’t go as well when they played LSU later in the season, as the Tigers trounced the Golden Eagles 45-10. We all expect Tennessee’s game against them to go similarly to the LSU one last year rather than the Kentucky game.
