Landry Jones may have started the Pittsburgh Steelers’ final preseason game, but former Vol Josh Dobbs provided the big highlight play from the game.
After a lackluster start for Jones, Dobbs came in and provided a spark to the Steelers’ offense. And that spark ended with an explosion as Dobbs connected with another former Vol, Justin Hunter, for a 58-yard touchdown.

Dobbs went 3-for-4 for 81 yards and that 58-yard touchdown to start his night, a much better start than any of his previous three preseason games. Dobbs got off to an extremely rough beginning in his first preseason game (and start) in the Steelers’ first preseason game, turning the ball over twice in his first few drives. But he would recover and turn in a solid performance by the end of his playing time.
This time, however, Dobbs started with a bang. And he helped another former Vol in the process. Hunter is trying to make the Steelers’ roster, and a big play like that could help his chances.
