Last year, Vol fans, local media, and national media alike all pretty much knew what to expect from the Vols’ roster. Tennessee had an abundance of experienced starters on the roster, and most of the Vols’ biggest play-makers were juniors and seniors who had played a great many snaps in the past.
This year, however, is a very different story.
Tennessee still has experienced starters returning, especially along the offensive line. But the Vols also have a great deal of inexperienced and less talked about players on their 2017 roster. And even some of the Vols’ more experienced players aren’t talked about considering the contributions they’ve made in the past.
The Vols have many players who were either overlooked on the recruiting trail and have looked much better than expected on the field or don’t get enough attention considering their play for the Vols in the past.
