Theo Jackson
Tennessee’s safety position is loaded with talent this season. Todd Kelly Jr., Nigel Warrior, and Micah Abernathy head up a deeply talented pool of safeties, and true freshman Theo Jackson is the surprise of the group.
Bob Shoop himself said earlier this week that Jackson has surprised him with his play so far in fall camp, and that’s promising for a true freshman with several other talented and experienced players at the same position as him. Senior Evan Berry and fellow freshman (and more highly-touted coming out of high school) Maleik Gray are also competing at safety.
Jackson is going to find his way on the field this season. Whether it’s at safety or as a punt returner, Jackson will be used in some capacity as a true freshman for the Vols.

Shamburger will be the biggest gem & he’ll outplay many that were rated a lot higher than him over the next 3 to 5 years.
