Peyton Manning Takes Irish Bar by Surprise

Where in the world is Peyton Manning? Well, he was just in Ireland, apparently, and he’s having a good time during his retirement from football.

Manning was spotted at an Irish bar not too long ago, and he surprised the patrons there with a little impromptu concert of his own. Manning serenaded the people in attendance with his rendition of “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash. Here’s video of Manning’s appearance on stage at the bar:

But why was Manning in Ireland in the first place? Because he was finishing up a golf trip that started in Scotland and ended in Ireland. Because that’s what you do when you’re a retired five-time NFL MVP.

This is far from the first time Manning has sung Johnny Cash in a public setting, though. In 2014, Manning joined country singer Jake Owen on stage to sing “Folsom County Blues,” and last year he sang the same song on stage with Dierks Bentley.

Apparently Manning is a big Johnny Cash fan. Or he just likes the one song. Regardless, he’s clearly enjoying his retirement and is getting out and seeing the world.
