Vol Nike Alternate Uniform Designs

Updated Smokey Gray Looks

Since Nike and Tennessee officially partnered before the 2015 season, the apparel company has yet to update any new alternate looks for the Vols. Tennessee has worn their alternate Smoky Gray jerseys three times since 2015, but they haven’t tried any different combos with that look nor updated the uniform either.

So Spencer decided it was time to try out some different combos with the helmet and uniform as well as try a few more things on the jersey itself.

The first concept features white pants and white shoulder sleeves with the old VOLS logo on them and on the pants stripe as well. It also features an orange face mask. The second mock-up has a checkerboard design on the shoulder sleeves and the VOLS logo in the orange pant stripe again.

The last two designs combine elements that area already there for the Vols. The first design is just Tennessee’s orange home top combined with their Smoky Gray pants and Smoky Mountain helmet. The gray-orange-gray pattern provides a neat design. The second one features the Vols’ normal white helmet with orange tops and the Smoky Gray pants. But the stripe down the side of the pants is different and is trimmed in white.
