Tennessee’s offensive line is easily the most experienced unit on the team this season. Their 110 combined starts are more than the rest of the Vols’ offensive players combined. The rest of Tennessee’s offense has only 71 combined starts in their career. In fact, Tennessee’s whole defense has just 153 combined starts among all their players.

Senior Jashon Robertson is tied with tight end Ethan Wolf for the most returning starts among all Vol players in 2017. Three of the Vols’ offensive linemen have 20 or more career starts, and only two other players on Tennessee’s entire roster have more than 20 starts (Wolf, Shaq Wiggins).

Not only is the Vols’ offensive line the most experienced unit on the team, but they are arguably the deepest unit on the team as well. The Vols have a solid base of experience for their projected starters but also have experienced and talented backups ready to play too. Sophomore Drew Richmond has more career starts already than some juniors and seniors at other positions on the Vols’ roster.

The offensive line will be the bedrock of the Vols’ offense this season. If they can improve their play and live up to their talent level, Tennessee’s offense could be very successful in 2017,
