Stanley Morgan (1973-76)

Stanley Morgan did just about everything for the Vols during his career. As a freshman, Morgan was used primarily as a receiver. As his career went on, he transitioned to more of a tailback, but his senior season saw him excel at both positions. Morgan was also a phenomenal punt and kick returner, scoring three touchdowns on punt returns in his career. As a whole, Morgan was an exceptional athlete and is one of the most versatile players in Tennessee history. Morgan’s 4,642 career all-purpose yards are still the most in school history.

Larry Seivers (1974-76)

Up till this point in Tennessee’s history, Larry Seivers was arguably the greatest pure receiver in program history. By the end of his UT career, Seivers held the school’s career record for most receptions (117) and receiving yards (1,924). Seivers was a two-time All-American who would hold both those career marks till Tim McGee broke them nine years later.
