It’s the summer, which means it’s list season and a time to look back and reflect on history. So we thought we would spend this time to go back and look at the best players at each position over the decades for the Vols.
In our ongoing series, we’re taking a look at the “All-Decades Positions” for the Vols since 1960. Why 1960? Because by our estimations, that’s about as far back as we can go and the game of football still be considered similar to what modern day football is now.
In our third installment, we take a look at the best pass catchers in Tennessee history. The Vols have had a bevy of talented receivers throughout the decades, and it’s no surprise why Tennessee was once known as “Wide Receiver U.” If you want to catch up on the series, here are the best Vol quarterbacks in each decade, and here are the best Vol running backs in each decade.
Find out who are Tennessee’s best two wide receivers from each decade from the 1960s to the 2000s.
