It’s the summer, which means it’s list season and a time to look back and reflect on history. So we thought we would spend this time to go back and look at the best players at each position over the decades for the Vols.
In our new summer series, we’re taking a look at the “All-Decade Positions” for the Vols since 1960. Why 1960? Because by our estimations, that’s about as far back as we can go and the game of football still be considered similar to what modern day football is now.
To start our series, we look at the most important position on the field: the quarterback. Find out who are Tennessee’s best two quarterbacks from each decade from the 1960s to the 2000s.
