For better or for worse, Tennessee’s game against South Carolina has become a rivalry game over the last decade-plus. Since 2005, the Vols and Gamecocks have split their annual series six games apiece. South Carolina infamously (to Vol fans, at least) defeated Tennessee in Columbia last season 24-21 and not only ended the Vols’ 3-game winning streak over the Gamecocks, but they also ended up costing the Vols an SEC East title.

Will the Vols get revenge in Knoxville this year? We all think there’s a decent chance of that happening despite South Carolina only getting more experienced and developing more offensive and defensive play-makers.

  1. It must be pretty easy to sit behind a computer and break a coach that took a team that had only won 2 SEC games. I would like this guy to come and try and coach a high school football team. What a joke. I expected more from Butch, I also never thought Fulmer would have a 5-7 season. Only Tennessee and Ohio State has that as they lowest margin. Derek Mason got an extension for a 5-7 season
