Our Confidence Level for Every 2017 Vols Game

The Vols start off the 2017 season with a fairly tough opponent, and that’s reflected in our confidence levels for the game. Georgia Tech has been consistently good under head coach Paul Johnson since he took over in 2008, and that’s been largely due to one thing: his offensive system. The Yellow Jackets run a triple option offense that’s hard for modern defenses that are built to stop potent passing attacks to defend. Georgia Tech already beat three SEC teams last year (Vanderbilt, Georgia, Kentucky), and they want to keep their SEC winning streak alive. With the exception of Ben, we’re all somewhat confident the Vols will end that streak, though.

  1. It must be pretty easy to sit behind a computer and break a coach that took a team that had only won 2 SEC games. I would like this guy to come and try and coach a high school football team. What a joke. I expected more from Butch, I also never thought Fulmer would have a 5-7 season. Only Tennessee and Ohio State has that as they lowest margin. Derek Mason got an extension for a 5-7 season
