The Top Remaining 2018 In-State Targets for the Vols

3. D’Andre Litaker. DT

When it comes to the defensive line, SEC teams can never have too many highly-rated defensive tackles and ends on their roster. And D’Andre Litaker is just one of a handful of highly-touted defensive linemen in the state of Tennessee in the 2018 class.

Litaker is a four-star defensive tackle out of Riverdale in Murfreesboro who has offers from all the top programs in the SEC. Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, and several others have offered Litaker a scholarship. But the Vols and LSU both offered Litaker before any other schools, and Litaker has shown a preference to Tennessee over other programs so far.

So far, Litaker has unofficially visited the Vols twice and has been evaluated by Vols’ new offensive line coach Walt Wells as of late January.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds, Litaker has the body all SEC schools want in a defensive tackle. If the Vols can hold off every other SEC team that’s pursuing him, they just might land the talented prospect out of middle Tennessee.
