Tennessee’s entire 2017 signing class is expected to be on campus as summer classes begin on June 1 with the exception of a couple of wide receivers, according to a report by Jimmy Hyams of WNML-FM in Knoxville.
All but two UT freshmen FB players expected to enroll this summer have arrived. Set to come in late June: WRs Jordan Murphy, Jacquez Jones

Murphy and Jones are two of the four receivers that Tennessee will be adding this summer. The Vols signed three – Murphy, Jones and Josh Palmer – in the 2017 class, and also added Princeton Fant as a “blueshirt” player who will arrive as a walk-on this summer and then be put on scholarship.
Tennessee will need some immediate help from this group after losing top receiver Josh Malone to the NFL Draft this spring.
Murphy was ranked as the No. 50 receiver in the 2017 class by 247Sports, while Jones was ranked No. 132 in the nation at his position. Both will likely be in position to compete for time in the rotation under new receivers coach Kevin Beard in 2017.
