Thoughts: Good luck figuring this group out. Tennessee has plenty of experience. How will the Vols piece it all together under new O-line coach Walt Wells, however? That’s the question after an up-and-down 2016 season. Richmond, Kendrick and Hall are the primary options at tackle. But Smith showed this spring that he can be a factor at tackle and/or guard. Robertson, Jones and Boulware all have starting experience at guard, while Thomas, who can play all five positions, might settle back in at center in 2017 after the departure of Dylan Wiesman. Second-year players Ryan Johnson, Marcus Tatum, Nathan Niehaus and converted tight end Devante Brooks will look to contribute as well.
