RB John Kelly
You won’t find Kelly getting a ton of NFL buzz at the moment since he was buried behind Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara for parts of 2016, but scouts that watch Tennessee’s film from all of last year will begin to pay attention to him. Once Kelly became a bigger focal point of the offense following the Alabama game, he averaged nearly 90 yards of rushing per contest for the rest of the season, even while splitting time with Alvin Kamara once he returned from injury later in the season.
He has good hands out of the backfield, is an adequate blocker and runs with determination. He might, realistically, be more of a 2019 prospect, but running backs opt to make the jump early sometimes to save the wear and tear for the NFL.
