Three rounds and two days are in the books for the NFL Draft in Philadelphia, and three Vols are already off the board.
Three rounds in the books…
Derek Barnett: No. 14 (Eagles)
Alvin Kamara: No. 67 (Saints)
Cam Sutton: No. 94 (Steelers)— Rocky Top Insider (@rockytopinsider) April 29, 2017
At least two more could come off the board early on Saturday as the draft gets underway at noon ET on ESPN and the NFL Network. Quarterback Joshua Dobbs, who some analysts projected as high as a second-round pick, fell through the first three rounds, but enters Day 3 as the “best available” player on the board, according to ESPN.
Former Tennessee quarterback Nathan Peterman, who transferred to Pitt in 2015, is the third-best available player, according to the list.
Receiver Josh Malone is the 17th-best available player and the second-best receiver still on the board, while linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin is the fourth-best outside linebacker still available.
Others:
• Corey Vereen is listed as the 15th-best defensive end on the board
• Jason Croom is the 12th best-available tight end on the board
