Jalen Reeves-Maybin
Daniel:
The pick: Oakland Raiders, No. 208 overall (6th round)
Rationale: JRM is a better overall player than his draft slot will indicate in my opinion, but questions about his health and his size will knock him into the later rounds. Oakland GM Reggie McKenzie will step up to the plate and not let him fall all the way out of the draft, however. In Oakland, Reeves-Maybin can have some time to get to 100% physically and play some special teams in the meantime. Then he could be an intriguing fit in the Raiders’ 4-3 defense as an outside linebacker in a few years.
Nathanael:
The pick: Pittsburgh Steelers, No. 213 overall (6th round)
Rationale: If not for his injury during his senior season, Jalen Reeves-Maybin could very well be off the board by the end of the third round in this draft. But his injury and his lack of prototypical NFL size will scare teams away from drafting him for several rounds. But I think the Steelers come calling in the sixth round, and I think they will have a steal of pick as long as Reeves-Maybin can stay even relatively healthy.
