Tight ends
It can be nice to have your position coach calling the plays. That’s what the tight ends found out during the Orange and White Game this year.
Ethan and Eli Wolf had two of the biggest plays in the passing game during this year’s spring game, and in total, tight ends got six of the 19 targets during Saturday’s game. That was certainly a limited sample size, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see the tight ends increase their productivity with Larry Scott calling the plays and a first-time starter at quarterback perhaps looking for a safety valve.
