Linebackers
This unit, much like the defensive line, was depleted by injury for the game, but they still managed to put in a respectable day. The run defense was very solid from this group, and Cortez McDowell and Daniel Bituli especially showed out in that regard. Pass defense, however, still needs some work, as the linebackers were soft on their coverage on multiple plays over the middle or near the sidelines on intermediate routes. Dillon Bates also made some nice plays in the game.
