The Aggies of Texas A&M have only made one more appearance in the NCAA Tournament than Ole Miss, but they also have one more deep run than the Rebels.

Texas A&M didn’t make it into the tournament from 1988-2005, but they have earned berths seven times since 2006, including making it in as a No. 3 seed and making it to the Sweet Sixteen in 2016. The Aggies’ other Sweet Sixteen run came in 2007 when they were also a No. 3 seed. They fell a point shy of beating No. 2 seed Memphis and advancing to the Elite Eight that year.

The Aggies had nearly a two decade drought in the NCAA Tournament. But they’ve made a couple deeper runs over the last decade and have even made some noise as official members of the SEC.
