3. Arkansas
It’s been a while since Arkansas has made it far in the NCAA Tournament, but they’ve done what few others in the SEC can claim: They’ve won a national title.
Arkansas owns the 1994 National Championship and would go on to make another appearance in the national title game in 1995 as well. The Razorbacks also made it to the Final Four in 1990 and have an Elite Eight and two Sweet Sixteen runs to their names in the 1990s too. The run the Razorbacks put on in the early to mid-90s is one of the better stretches any basketball program can boast. Arkansas made it to at least the Sweet Sixteen six times from 1990-1996 and made it to the title game twice, winning the championship once.
The Razorbacks haven’t made it out of the second round of the tournament since 1996, but they’ve at least made several appearances in the recent past, including making it in 2015 and this year.
