LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
6-0, 230 pounds
Undersized and coming in with a history of injuries, Reeves-Maybin had a lot to prove this weekend. Unfortunately, he opted to not participate in any of the testing drills, most likely to give himself a little more time to get 100% for Tennessee’s Pro Day later in the month. He drew positive reviews for his work in the positional drills, however, and that’s a nice step for a player who hasn’t seen the field since early in the 2016 season. All those concerns have pushed one of UT’s most productive players down draft boards, but he has enough upside that he can still climb back up with a good performance later this month. His versatility and special teams prowess should help him win an NFL job, regardless of draft position.
