Quick bio: Price needs no introduction to Tennessee fans. As a target for Peyton Manning and Tee Martin, he had 2,298 yards of receiving and 19 touchdowns from 1995-98. He’s perhaps best remembered for his 41-yard touchdown catch in the ’98 national championship game that helped lead the Vols to the win over Florida State. After being picked up in the second round by the Buffalo Bills in the 1999 NFL Draft, Price went on to record over 5,000 yards of receiving on over 400 receptions in his nine-year career that also saw steps in Atlanta and Dallas.
Pros: When it comes to Vol receivers, Price is royalty. He’s a fan favorite who would also command respect from the young receivers.
Cons/Questions: As enticing as this possibility sounds, it’s tough to say if it’s realistic because Price has no formal coaching experience.
