Kippy Brown
Quick bio: A Sweetwater, Tenn., native, Brown played receiver at Memphis and went on to have a lengthy collegiate and professional career that spanned from 1978-2014. He made three stops at Tennessee during his career. He was briefly UT’s interim head coach when Lane Kiffin bolted to USC.
Pros: Brown has Tennessee ties and is incredibly well respected around the game.
Cons/Questions: Brown hasn’t coached since 2014 and might be content to stay in retirement as opposed to taking such a demanding position.
