Corryton, Tenn., isn’t exactly a hot bed for producing offensive linemen, but one of the best players in recent history out of that area picked up a Tennessee offer over the weekend after visiting Junior Day.
Offensive lineman Oliver Lane (6-6, 280 pounds) picked up an offer from UT on Monday, he announced on Twitter, as the Vols join a growing list of schools that includes Virginia Tech, Missouri, Wisconsin, Northwestern and others in pursuing the local product in the 2018 class.

Lane, who plays defensive tackle and offensive guard for Gibbs High School, is ranked as the No. 36 offensive guard in the nation by the 247Sports composite ranking and as the 24th best player in the state and the No. 789th best player nationally. Rivals.com ranks him as a three-star prospect and the No. 22 player in the state of Tennessee.
