1. Who leaves spring as the top quarterback?
It’d be surprising to see Butch Jones name any kind of leader in the quarterback competition this spring. But somebody will head into the summer as the presumed favorite based on spring practice. The competition has unofficially been going on since last August, but with Josh Dobbs now officially out of the equation, Quinten Dormady and Jarrett Guarantano will be the top two candidates to be under center for UT in 2017 with Sheriron Jones and Will McBride also battling to get into the picture. The staff has a good idea what these guys can do physically, but who commands the offense the best this spring? That’ll be the thing to look for.
