6. Maxwell Iyama, OL
One of the biggest areas of need for the Vols in this 2018 class is at offensive line. Tennessee will be losing three seniors after the 2017 season, and they will lose another couple seniors after the 2018 season. Adding offensive linemen in the 2018 cycle is a must.
Enter Maxwell Iyama from the mid-state area.
Iyama plays for Siegel High School in Murfreesoro, and the four-star offensive tackle has already unofficially visited the Vols three times in the last half year. Iyama visited the Vols three times during the 2016 football season, and Tennessee offered him shortly after his last visit in mid-November.
Iyama has offers from South Carolina, Louisville, and Memphis and has started to gain more attention from teams outside of the state of Tennessee. It does appear the Vols are in great position with the 6-foot-5, 285 pound lineman, and gaining a commitment from him would go a long way to addressing one of the biggest needs in the 2018 class.
