DL Elijah Conliffe
Conliffe might be the top realistic target left on the board. He’d be a very nice addition to close out the class for Tennessee. Injuries and attrition quickly took a toll on Tennessee’s defensive line in 2016, so you can really see the emphasis the Vols have put on that position in this recruiting cycle. Conliffe (6-5, 305) played primarily as a large defensive end in high school, but he probably projects more as a defensive tackle in Tennessee’s system. He’d give the Vols another highly-rated, athletic guy to mold on the defensive line. He visited the Vols on Jan. 13, and if they can withstand last weekend’s trip to Florida and can find room for him, they have a shot at landing him.
