Was it a good ranking? He mainly contributed on special teams and goal-line packages, but the Nashville-area native showed some serious flashes of potential as a freshman. By the end of the season he was arguably being under-utilized as the Vols looked for more help at linebacker. He didn’t put up huge numbers, but he showed enough to justify his four-star status coming into college.

Was it a good ranking? Blakely took a redshirt season and is in the process of bulking up and likely moving to defensive end. He looks like he has some upside, but we’ll have to wait until 2017 and beyond to see if his ranking was solid.
