Friday Top 10: Names Left On Tennessee’s Recruiting Board

1. DL Elijah Conliffe

Conliffe might be the top realistic target left on the board. He’d be a very nice addition to close out the class for Tennessee. Injuries and attrition quickly took a toll on Tennessee’s defensive line in 2016, so you can really see the emphasis the Vols have put on that position in this recruiting cycle. Conliffe (6-5, 305) played primarily as a large defensive end in high school, but he probably projects more as a defensive tackle in Tennessee’s system. He’d give the Vols another highly-rated, athletic guy to mold on the defensive line. He visited the Vols on Jan. 13, and if they can withstand his visit to Florida this weekend, they have a great shot at landing him.
