Tennessee will get some extra help in the secondary in 2017, and might not even need to use a scholarship to do it.
Chris Bell, a defensive back from Pope John Paul II in Hendersonville, Tenn., announced his decision to attend Tennessee via Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

It appears that he’ll be a preferred walk-on, and he told The Tennessean that he would work out all those details later, but confirmed that Knoxville was where he wanted to be for his college choice.
Bell is ranked as a three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite ranking and is the No. 150 safety in the nation. He holds FBS offers from South Carolina and Miami (Ohio) as well as from a handful of FCS schools.
