2. Alvin Kamara
It’s looking more and more likely that Alvin Kamara will forego his senior season at Tennessee and declare for the NFL draft. He’s proven he’s dynamic in his two seasons with the Vols, but he’s had very limited touches considering his talent.
If Kamara puts up some big numbers in the Music City Bowl, it should only solidify his decision to leave early.
In his two years at Tennessee, Kamara has totaled 1,263 rushing yards on 203 carries and 637 receiving yards on 67 catches. He’s scored 23 total touchdowns and has averaged exactly seven yards per touch on offense. That doesn’t include his 26 career punt returns for 284 yards and a touchdown either.
Kamara has done so much damage on just 270 career touches on offense in two seasons. He’s been banged up a bit this season and was only the true feature back in a handful of games. He’ll undoubtedly be the No. 1 back against Nebraska in the Music City Bowl, and a great outing against them could vault his draft stock even higher.
