3. Jonathan Kongbo
Jonathan Kongbo won’t be declaring for the draft after this season, but he definitely needs a strong bowl game to follow up a solid ending to an otherwise underwhelming debut season in Knoxville.
Kongbo only had four tackles for the first eight games of the regular season. He would end up with a tackle in three of the last four games of the season and returned an interception 59 yards for a score against Missouri. Kongbo played more down the stretch and was brought more into the rotation.
Now he needs to prove he deserves that extra time.
If Kongbo goes out and has an impressive bowl game, it will provide much needed confidence for him and for fans for his 2017 season.
