4. Music City Bowl: #21 Tennessee (8-4) vs Nebraska (9-3)
Oh yes, the bowl all Tennessee fans were hoping and wishing for all season long, a true dream come true – the Music City Bowl. Tennessee obviously had higher hopes this season than this, but I honestly doubt that gets in its way during prep for this game. Both teams had impressive starts to the season with Tennessee starting 5-0 and Nebraska 7-0, but both tapered off toward the end of the season closing out the year with losses to Vanderbilt and Iowa respectively. Both, might I add, in fairly embarrassing fashion. Nevertheless, I think the “we were both good in the 90s bowl” will turn out to be at the very least a fun shootout to watch.
