9. Liberty Bowl: Georgia (7-5) vs TCU (6-6)
The Bulldogs head to Memphis to take on the Kenny Trill and the Horned Frogs. Both had rather disappointing seasons, so this again is a likely won’t travel well bowl. Each team won 10+ games last season, so this major step backward for each of these programs. That doesn’t bode well for the ticket office at The Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, nonetheless I’m sure the matchup of a team that had a shoot-out with FCS opponent South Dakota State, and a team that got trounced by a pretty bad Ole Miss squad, will be a huge TV rating spike. I’m not sure what to make of this game. Both defenses are just decent, TCU’s offense has all the potential in the world, but Georgia’s has some promise too. Could legitimately be a decent game to check in on ever so often.
