3. Sugar Bowl: #14 Auburn (8-4) vs Oklahoma (10-2)
Auburn and Oklahoma is an interesting matchup. Oklahoma has one of the best offenses in the country, and Auburn one of the better defenses. Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook is a deadly combination, and if given the time in the pocket or at least time on a scramble, Mayfield will probably be able to find his favorite target for a few good plays. But on the other side you have a defense loaded with talent up front and in the secondary, so I’m not sure Oklahoma will be able to hang the mid-30s and 40s point totals they’ve been putting up in their Big 12 conference play. Keep your eye on the War Tigers and the Sooners – could be a fun one.
