3. DE Matthew Butler
The 6-foot-4, 265-pound end from Garner (N.C.) is one of the more realistic targets remaining for the Vols. He’s been on campus multiple times, and seems to favor Tennessee. The Vols need to replace at least three defensive ends in all likelihood (Derek Barnett, LaTroy Lewis and Corey Vereen), so adding another player like Butler to this class makes sense if space allows. He’ll make his decision later this month.
