4. RB Cam Akers
It’s tough to say how realistic it is, but Akers is the “big fish” out there for Tennessee. Arguably the best player in the nation, Akers, who plays quarterback for Clinton (Miss.) High School, but projects as a running back in college, is ranked as the No. 5 player in the country. Pairing him with Chandler would be a dream scenario for the Vols – one that would set UT up with one of the best young running back groups in the nation. Ole Miss, Ohio State, LSU and Florida State are among the other teams to watch.
