These few weeks will certainly be interesting for Butch Jones and the Vols on the recruiting trail after finishing the season short of expectations at 8-4 (4-4 SEC).

They appear to be off to a shaky start.

The Vols lost three commitments on Tuesday evening, including highly-sought after twins and defensive linemen Brandon and Breyon Gaddy out of Virginia Beach, Va, according to a report from 247Sports.

The Gaddy twins have been big parts of this class since July. Their commitment over the summer gave the Vols two athletic, 300-pound linemen who were set to help restock the defensive line with depth after the Vols were down to, at times, just two scholarship defensive tackles during the 2016 season due to injuries and the dismissal of Danny O’Brien.

Three-star athlete/running back C.J Cotman of Clearwater, Fla., is the third after he announced his decision via Twitter on Tuesday evening.

Cotman (5-11, 180) is rated as the No. 278 player in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking.

The Vols now have 23 commitments in a class that is currently ranked No. 14 in the nation by 247Sports.
