You have to love college football rivalries – at least when you win. Vanderbilt went through one of the worst stretches in any rivalry in college football from 1983 to 2011, winning just one game against the Vols in that span.
But recently the Commodores have been more competitive, now winning three of the last five in this series, including Saturday’s 45-34 victory in Nashville.
And they certainly enjoyed it. A group of Vandy students played Rocky Top on a loop and mocked UT fans as they were exiting the stadium area following the loss. Here’s what the scene looked like:
