Scouts/bowl reps: Bowl reps from the Independence Bowl are present in the press box for Tennessee-Vandy (likely scouting the Commodores). NFL scouts from the Titans, Chiefs, Panthers, Jets and Dolphins are also present.
Lineup notes: Drew Richmond, Jashon Robertson, Coleman Thomas, Venzell Boulware and Brett Kendrick were warming up with the starters at offensive line. Ethan Wolf, Alvin Kamara, Joshua Dobbs, Josh Malone, Josh Smith and Jauan Jennings were the skill players. Chance Hall is out for this game. Dylan Wiesman is available to play, but we’re unsure if he will.
Defensively, Jonathan Kongbo was working with the starters on the defensive line alongside Derek Barnett, Corey Vereen and Kendal Vickers. Stephen Griffin was working at starting safety in place of Todd Kelly Jr. We’ve been told that Kelly Jr. is going to try to play, but isn’t 100%
