4. Corey Vereen, DE
After years of teasing his potential, Corey Vereen has blossomed in his senior season. The senior defensive end has consistently started on the opposite end of the defensive line across from Derek Barnett this year, and he’s been more than just serviceable. Vereen flashed potential as a freshman and sophomore, but he didn’t deliver fully until this season, and he’s been a solid counterpoint to the Vols’ All-SEC caliber end on the other side. Vereen has made 108 tackles, 12 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, forced three fumbles, and had 16 quarterback hurries.
