3. Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB
Jalen Reeves-Maybin’s senior season did not go as planned. The senior could’ve left early for the NFL draft after last seaosn, but he came back to finish out his career as a Vol and to help Tennessee compete for an SEC title. But Reeves-Maybin’s season ended several games earlier than expected.
Reeves-Maybin suffered a season ending injury early in the season, and the last time he was on the field was in Tennessee’s win against Florida. Reeves-Maybin was one of Tennessee’s four permanent captains this season, but he only played in four games. And he only played fully in one of them. But Reeves-Maybin still managed to be an extremely productive linebacker in his four seasons as a Vol, and Vol fans will be sad to see him go. Jalen Reeves-Maybin amassed 240 tackles, 8 sacks, 27 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, an interception, four pass breakups, and four quarterback hurries.
