Non-Contact

Cornerback Malik Foreman, safety Stephen Griffin, and linebacker Darrin Kirkland were dressed in green non-contact jerseys.

Circle of Life

There were a few Circle of Life reps but none got the attention like Austin Sanders vs. Jonathan Kongbo. Sanders easily handled Kongbo and drew the praise of the entire offense and coaches.

High Energy

There was a lot of energy surrounding practice today. Some of the players and coaches were dancing and looking loose. Coach Jones was even showing some enthusiasm during the stretch period. Heading into a critical two-game stretch, the Vols will need all the energy and intensity they can muster up in order to make it to Atlanta in December (including a Florida loss).

Battle of the Lines

Nearing the end of the open portion, the offensive and defensive lines were battling it out in one-on-one reps. Derek Barnett continues to look like a sure first round pick as he got the best of Brett Kendrick almost every rep. The most impressive rep came from Kongbo as he threw Jashon Robertson to the ground.

Tennessee (7-3, 3-3 SEC) will face the Missouri Tigers (3-7, 1-5 SEC) this Saturday. Kickoff is at 3:30 on CBS.
