Jalen Hurd’s departure and Alvin Kamara’s injury proved to be of little consequence for the Vols against out-matched Tennessee Tech. John Kelly got the start and showed off, ripping off a 73-yard touchdown on his second carry of the game and finishing with 104 yards on just seven carries. Carlin Fils-Aime got his first and second career scores, and even Jeremy Lewis came in and looked crisp. It was hard to find anything wrong with this group against the Golden Eagles.
