9. The current 3-game losing streak
There’s no better time to think about than the present, and the Vols have an ugly streak of their own at this moment to deal with. After putting together an 11-game winning streak spanning the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, one that reached second-longest active one in the nation at one point, the Vols have since dropped three straight for the first time since 2014. That should come to an end against Tennessee Tech this weekend, but it’s tough to take anything for granted with this team.
