Running Backs
One of the few bright spots in a dismal offensive performance by the Vols was running back John Kelly. The sophomore back carried the ball 14 times for 94 yards and ground out tough yards all night. Jalen Hurd, however, was ineffective once again. Hurd scored in the first quarter, but he failed to find any running room and eventually left the game due to injury. He finished with a mere 16 yards on 8 carries.
