Overall
The past two weeks ended any realistic hopes of this being a dream-like 1998 season, but at the end of the day, the Vols are right where many people thought they would be. And they’ve done it with an unprecedented amount of adversity from an injury standpoint. It’s been a long off week after the drubbing at the hands of Alabama, but that shouldn’t eradicate the great moments and the overall resiliency of this team.
The SEC East is largely there for the taking down the stretch. Even with the injuries, UT has enough talent to be favored in every game remaining. Take care of business, and get just a little bit of help from one of Florida’s remaining SEC opponents, and UT will be headed to where everybody in orange was hoping in the preseason – Atlanta.
