Special Teams
There were some things to like for Tennessee. Trevor Daniel, outside of one shank, was solid with a 48.3 yards-per-punt average on 10 attempts. Aaron Medley hit his lone field goal, and Alvin Kamara and Evan Berry both had nice returns as well. It looked like UT was on its way to potentially winning the special teams battle before Eddie Jackson broke through the punt coverage and housed a 79-yard return to put the game further out of reach late. Tennessee had enough problems on the field without giving the Tide easy points like that.
